Where We Dine

Kelly's Korner is touring dining rooms today!

This is where we dine. We have company a lot, so we use it a lot. The table is an antique and was a gift from Marcus several years ago for Christmas. We saw it at an estate sale and he went back and got it for me. I was totally surprised.

The chandelier and my "Give Us Our Daily Bread" sign are from Golightly's.
And the ceiling tiles came from The Old Home Supply in Ft. Worth. They came out of a 100 year old building. You can find all kinds of fun stuff there.

This china was my great grandmother's. I love that it's pink and green. We used it this Easter. Only at the girl table though. The kids and the boys just got my everyday dishes. I'm no fool!

Here is the view from our living room:

The pink hydrangeas and the pink flower on my lamp are from Hobby Lobby.

This little staircase was my grandmothers. I always loved it when I was a kid and constantly wanted to climb it. I'm not sure where I thought I was going.

This wreath is from Laurie Anna's Vintage Home in Canton.

And this cake stand was made by my friend, Sharon. I have a few of them and I LOVE them. Go check out here stuff here.

And I have to show you the BEFORE picture.

Wow, I almost forgot....

Thanks for coming over.

Ditto everything Kelly said. I love your use of colors and the fun atmosphere. I think we tend to take decorating too seriously sometimes and should just let go and have some fun! I am so loving the iron work fork, spoon, and knife. Could you share where you got these?
Thanks so much!

I love your house! I live in the DFW (Flower Mound) area too and have been inspired by your design. I went to the flea market in Ft Worth last weekend (never knew about it!) and went to that place where you got your letters on your wall (Cheap Thrills). I bought a P for our last name. Now, you know of another store too! You must list your favorite places to shop!

I love decorating but it is not something that comes easy to me. I live for inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas! I just wish it was Canton weekend! I am so ready to go! I just wish I had your eye to pick out stuff! :)

Have a great day!
