I sure have missed this blog! I was sick all last week and it really cramped my style! I didn't get to put out my Christmas stuff like I planned and I missed out on dinner with George W Bush! He was actually just speaking at the dinner, but I planned on socializing with him some and giving him a big hug!
Anyway, today I am thankful for my health, my sweet family, amazing friends, shelter, food, Jesus...I could go on an on.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
We went to my mother-in-law's house today. And my parents came too!
This is Marcus holding his pecan pie out the window, so it would cool on the way to his mom's!

I had to get a pic of Katie too since my camera was out:
Then I tried to take a pic of myself, so I wouldn't feel left out! It looks like Marcus wants to kill me in this picture, but I don't think he does.
We brought a home made by Marcus pecan pie and a bought by me pecan pie. I picked one up yesterday, because I knew I would be making one today. And since I know myself pretty well, I thought I might need a back up since my cooking efforts usually go south.
I was right. I totally burned my pecan pie! Even though I had a back up, Marcus wanted to take a crack at making one. His turned out good, of course!
Here's Katie with my dad looking down at the Thanksgiving feast!
Of course I failed to get pictures of everyone. I was distracted by all the yummy food.
I hope you all had a great day too!
